Best Jaquar Geyser 2026: Which Model to Buy for Your Bathroom

Short answer

For most bathrooms the Jaquar geyser to buy is the Briza 25 litre at ₹11,650 — the one Jaquar storage range with a published BEE 5-star rating, a tank big enough for a proper shower, and Jaquar's full 7-year tank warranty. If the budget is tight, the Meta 25 litre manual does the same job for ₹9,350. Want a digital display? Terra 25 litre, ₹13,850. Mounting it in a loft? Elena 25 litre horizontal, ₹10,800. Why Briza is the default pick

Jaquar publishes a BEE star rating and a measured standing loss — the energy a full tank loses just staying hot — for one storage range: Briza. All four Briza sizes are listed as 5-star, with standing losses of 0.265, 0.332, 0.381 and 0.465 kWh a day for 6, 10, 15 and 25 litres. A geyser that stays switched on all day spends most of its electricity on exactly that loss, so this is the number that shows up on the bill. Briza also carries the same 7 years on the tank, 4 on the element and 2 on other parts as the rest of the storage line.

Briza's page does not state a pressure rating. If you live in a pump-fed tower and want the rating in writing, Meta, Elena, Elena Prime, Terra and Versa are all listed at 8 bar.

15 or 25 litres?

25 litres if anyone in the house takes a shower; 15 if it is bucket baths. The step up costs ₹1,000 to ₹1,700 in most series (Meta ₹1,000, Briza ₹1,350, Elena ₹1,650), and running out of hot water halfway through a shower is the most common regret with a small geyser. What we would not buy

• A 1 or 3 litre instant geyser for a bathroom. It empties in well under a minute at shower flow. Kitchens only.
• A high-kW tankless heater without checking the wiring. The 12, 18 and 24 kW Insta Prime models need three-phase supply; the 5.5–9 kW ones are single-phase but still need their own circuit. See the tankless guide.
• The Erica digital unless you specifically want its digital control: at ₹17,000 (15 L) and ₹19,700 (25 L) it is the most expensive small-tank Jaquar, and we could not find its warranty terms published, so its product page says "as applicable" rather than a number.

Hard water

If your water leaves white scale on taps, the heating element is the part that will fail first. Jaquar's storage geysers cover the element for 4 years; the Insta instant range for 2. That is a reason to prefer a storage model over an instant one for daily use in a hard-water area.
