What a set actually costs

Six pieces — towel rail, towel ring, robe hook, soap dish, tumbler holder, paper holder — is the standard specification for one bathroom.

SeriesSix-piece setNotes
Continental, chrome₹6,000 – ₹8,000The value baseline
Continental, black matt₹8,500 – ₹11,000Same shapes, coloured
Kubix Prime, chrome₹9,000 – ₹12,000Square design language
Kubix Prime, gold PVD₹14,000 – ₹18,000
Queens, any of 7 finishes₹14,000 – ₹18,000Premium, all finishes equal

Add a towel rack (₹5,456 median) or a grab bar (₹2,728) and the number moves accordingly.

Only three series matter

Of 524 Jaquar accessories, 479 sit in just three ranges:

SeriesModelsCharacter
Continental + Continental Prime227Plain, rounded, cheapest. The workhorse
Kubix Prime150Square, modern, matches Kubix taps
Queens112Premium, and the only range where all seven finishes run the full set

Everything else — Hotelier, bath-tub accessories, disabled-friendly fittings — is small and specialised.

This is the practical constraint on a matched bathroom. If your taps are Opal Prime, Vignette Prime, Ornamix Prime or Florentine, there is no accessory range in that series. You will be pairing them with Continental, Kubix Prime or Queen's. That is normal and it looks fine — accessories are read as a set with each other, not with the taps — but it does mean you cannot "match everything" the way people expect.

What you should match is the finish, exactly, across taps and accessories. A chrome tap next to a stainless-steel towel rail is the mismatch people notice.

The ₹360 robe hook, and where cheap is correct

ACN-CHR-1191N, Continental robe hook, chrome, ₹360. The cheapest genuine Jaquar item in the entire catalogue.

Accessories are the one category where buying down is usually right. A robe hook holds a towel. A ₹2,728 hook holds it no better than a ₹360 one; it just looks better doing it. So:

Spend on what you touch and see at eye level — the towel rail, the paper holder, the shelf if it carries glass.

Save on what you do not — hooks behind the door, the soap dish inside the shower, the tumbler holder nobody uses because everybody keeps brushes in a mug.

A sensible mixed specification is Kubix Prime or Queen's for the rail and paper holder, Continental for the hooks, all in the same finish. It looks deliberate and saves ₹3,000–₹4,000 a bathroom.

Finishes

Of 524 accessories: 97 chrome, 60 black matt, 55 stainless steel, 53 each in antique bronze, antique copper, black chrome and graphite, 28 each in gold bright and gold matt PVD, 8 white glass and 2 black glass.

Accessories are where coloured finishes are cheapest to try. A black-matt robe hook at ₹530 is a low-risk way to see whether you like the finish in your light before committing ₹60,000 of taps to it. Buy one, hold it against the tile, then decide.

Care is the same as for any PVD fitting — no acidic cleaners, no scouring pads. Details in the black fittings guide and the gold fittings guide.

Drilled or adhesive

Jaquar accessories are supplied for screw fixing, and that is what we recommend. A drilled and plugged fixing into tile holds a wet towel for twenty years.

Adhesive mounting kits exist and are tempting on new tile you do not want to drill. They fail on textured tile, on tile with a wax coating, and in a shower zone with daily steam. If you cannot drill — a rented flat, a glass panel — use adhesive for the hook and the tumbler holder, never for the towel rail or the grab bar.

Grab bars must be drilled, always, into a solid substrate. A grab bar is a safety fitting and an adhesive one is worse than none, because it invites weight it cannot take.

Fitting heights that work

The measurements we give customers, from finished floor level:

ItemHeight
Towel rail1,100 – 1,200 mm
Towel ring (beside basin)1,200 mm
Robe hook1,600 – 1,700 mm
Paper holder700 mm, 200–300 mm forward of the WC
Soap dish in shower1,200 mm
Grab bar beside WC750 – 850 mm

Mark them all before drilling anything, with the towel actually hanging. A towel rail set at the height that looks right on a drawing usually puts a wet bath towel on the floor.

FAQ

How much do Jaquar bathroom accessories cost?

A robe hook is ₹360–₹2,728, a towel ring ₹1,140–₹3,872, a towel rail ₹1,220–₹4,752, a soap dish ₹780–₹3,256 and a paper holder ₹700–₹4,444. A six-piece set for one bathroom runs ₹6,000–₹18,000 depending on series and finish.

Can I match Jaquar accessories to my taps?

Only partly. Just three ranges carry accessories — Continental, Kubix Prime and Queen's — so if your taps are Opal Prime or Florentine there is no accessory range in that series. Match the finish exactly instead; accessories read as a set with each other, not with the taps.

What height should a bathroom towel rail be fitted at?

1,100–1,200 mm from finished floor level. Towel ring at 1,200 mm, robe hook at 1,600–1,700 mm, paper holder at 700 mm and 200–300 mm forward of the WC, and a grab bar beside the WC at 750–850 mm.
