Jaquar Instant Geyser Price 2026 - Insta 1 & 3 Litre

Short answer

A Jaquar instant geyser costs ₹3,750 to ₹4,500 with us, at Jaquar's 2026 NRP. The Insta range is four models: 1 or 3 litres, each with a 3 kW or 4.5 kW element — Insta 1 L 3 kW at ₹3,750 up to the 3 L 4.5 kW at ₹4,500. All have a stainless steel inner container, a 6.5 bar rating and Jaquar's 5-year tank, 2-year element and 2-year parts warranty. An instant geyser is for a kitchen sink or a quick hand-wash, not a shower.

In detail

All four Insta models

Jaquar lists all four at 230 V, a 25–75°C temperature range and a 1/2 inch inlet and outlet. Browse them at Jaquar instant geysers.

3 kW or 4.5 kW?

The 4.5 kW heats faster, but it draws more current: about 19.6 amps at 230 V against about 13 amps for the 3 kW (amps = watts ÷ volts). A 4.5 kW unit therefore needs a circuit and socket rated for it; in many Indian kitchens that means a dedicated 20–25 A line. If your kitchen point is an ordinary 16 A socket, choose the 3 kW. The price difference is only ₹250–₹300.

1 litre or 3 litres?

A 1 litre tank is enough to rinse utensils or wash hands; a 3 litre gives a few minutes of warm water at a kitchen tap. For a sink full of washing-up, a 6 litre storage geyser is the better tool — see the 6 and 10 litre guide, from ₹7,000.

Why not for a bathroom

An overhead shower runs at 8–12 litres a minute. A 3 litre tank, even mixed with cold, empties in well under a minute and then the water runs cold while the element catches up. For a bathroom choose a 15 or 25 litre storage geyser, or — if you want unlimited hot water — a tankless Insta Prime.

Jaquar Insta or Venus instant

Venus's 1–5 litre instant geysers are ₹2,909 to ₹5,479 with us. Venus's Jiffy is cheaper at entry level; Jaquar's Insta has a 5-year tank warranty and is rated 6.5 bar against 6 bar for the Jiffy, Lava and Pentra. More in Jaquar vs Venus geyser.
