Step 3 — How to verify an authorized dealer

Warranty on branded fittings is honoured on proof of purchase from legitimate channels, and gray-market or lookalike stock is a genuine problem in India — especially for fast-moving items like health faucets and angle valves. Do not take "we are authorized" on trust:

2. Demand a proper GST invoice naming the dealer and the exact model codes. No invoice, no warranty — and an "estimate" slip is not an invoice.
3. Compare the price against MRP. Legitimate online prices on Jaquar typically sit 8–15% below MRP. A "60% off" branded faucet is a red flag for old stock, seconds or counterfeits.
4. Check the box on arrival: brand hologram/markings, model code sticker matching your invoice, and the warranty card in the box.
