Short answer
A Jaquar tap costs between ₹580 and ₹27,030 depending on what kind of tap it is — and the small basin-area stop and angle valves that go with them start at ₹520. The everyday numbers: a basin tap starts at ₹1,610, a basin mixer at ₹1,610–₹19,170 (median ₹7,150), a WC-area bib tap at ₹580–₹5,500, a kitchen sink tap at ₹2,100–₹9,390, a health faucet at ₹1,190–₹5,730, and a sensor tap at ₹10,150–₹27,030. Chrome is always the cheapest version of any code; the same tap in gold or black matt typically costs 40–60% more. Prices below are live selling prices on this site, a median of about 12% below Jaquar MRP.
In detail
Every Jaquar tap type, priced
For wall mixers and diverters — the shower-wall fittings people also call taps — see the diverter price guide and the wall mixer guide.
Basin taps and mixers, broken down
This is where most people start, and "basin tap" covers six different products at six different prices.
A tap has one inlet; a mixer has two. If your bathroom has no hot-water line to the basin, a mixer is money spent on a lever you will never move. If it does, a tap will annoy you every winter. That single question separates a ₹1,900 purchase from a ₹7,150 one.
The other decision is spout height. A table-top vessel basin needs a tall boy or the water hits the rim; a standard counter basin with a tall boy splashes. Full working in how to choose a basin mixer.
WC-area taps
A 2-way bib tap feeds the health faucet from the same body, which saves a separate connection. If you are buying a health faucet anyway, price the 2-way version before the plain one.
Kitchen taps
Pull-out mixers cost roughly double a fixed-spout mixer and are worth it if you wash large vessels; if you do not, the money is better spent on the sink. See the kitchen faucet buying guide.
Basin-area valves — the line nobody budgets for
Angle valves and stop valves are the small parts under the basin, and a full bathroom needs several. Jaquar prices them ₹520 – ₹4,710: a Continental Prime stop valve in chrome is ₹520, the same valve in Queens Prime white matt is ₹1,920, and a Kubix Prime angle valve in full gold is ₹4,710.
The gap is entirely finish and series. On a visible exposed installation, matching them to the taps is worth it. Under a vanity where nobody will ever see them, chrome Continental at ₹520 does exactly the same job. Specifying value-range valves and premium taps is the single easiest saving in a Jaquar quote.
Sensor taps
110 models, ₹10,150 – ₹27,030, median ₹18,000. Entry point is an Opal Prime table-mounted sensor tap at ₹10,150; a wall-mounted Blush sensor tap in stainless steel is ₹18,000; the top of the range reaches ₹27,030.
This is the widest sensor faucet range of any brand we carry, and for an office, clinic or restaurant washroom it usually pays for itself — a hand-operated tap in a commercial washroom does more cycles in a month than a home tap does in a year. See the sensor faucet guide.
What the finish does to the price
The same tap, different plating:
Those medians move across different product mixes, so treat them as direction rather than a fixed multiplier — but the direction is real and it is large. If a quote has surprised you, the finish is usually why. Compare durability and care in the finish guide.
Cheaper alternatives that are still genuine
If the Jaquar number does not fit the budget, Essco is the Jaquar Group's own value range: basin taps ₹900 – ₹1,770, basin mixers ₹1,660 – ₹4,450, WC-area taps ₹1,150 – ₹2,830, kitchen taps ₹1,710 – ₹3,850. Same group, same service network, chrome only. See Jaquar vs Essco and the Essco price list.
How to use this list
These are indicative bands. Jaquar revises its price list periodically and finish availability changes, so the exact number for a model code is always on its product page. If you have a quote from elsewhere, send it to us on WhatsApp — we will price it code by code against this catalogue.

FAQ
What is the price of a Jaquar basin tap?
A wall-mounted Jaquar basin tap starts at ₹1,610 and a table-mounted basin tap (pillar cock) at ₹1,900. Basin mixers, which blend hot and cold, start at ₹2,830 wall-mounted and ₹3,460 table-mounted, with a median of ₹7,150 across the 411 models we stock.
What is the difference between a Jaquar tap and a Jaquar mixer?
A tap has one inlet - one water source, no temperature control. A mixer has two inlets and blends hot and cold. If your basin has no hot-water line, a mixer is money spent on a lever you will never move.
Why is the same Jaquar tap more expensive in black or gold?
Chrome is the base price on every Jaquar model code. PVD and matt finishes are applied on top and cost more - typically 25% to 90% extra depending on the finish. Across our Jaquar catalogue the median chrome price is ₹3,250 against ₹6,230 for stainless steel.
Is there a cheaper genuine alternative to Jaquar taps?
Essco, the Jaquar Group's own value range: basin taps ₹900-₹1,770, basin mixers ₹1,660-₹4,450, WC-area taps ₹1,150-₹2,830, kitchen taps ₹1,710-₹3,850. Same group, same service network, chrome only.
