Short answer
A complete set of genuine Jaquar bathroom fittings for one bathroom costs ₹23,000 at the value end, about ₹50,000 mid-range, and ₹95,000–₹1,15,000 premium. That is fittings only — taps, shower, valves, waste and accessories — not tiles, sanitaryware, plumbing labour or the geyser. The value set is real Jaquar with Jaquar's 10-year warranty, not a compromise brand. The three biggest levers on the final number, in order: finish (coloured costs 30–60% more than chrome), how many outlets your shower wall feeds, and whether the installation is concealed (which adds a valve body to almost every line). Prices are live selling prices, a median of about 12% below Jaquar MRP.
In detail
What "a complete set" actually contains
Twelve items, and people routinely forget the last four:
- Basin mixer or tap
- Basin-area stop valves (×2 — hot and cold)
- WC-area bib tap
- Health faucet
- Wall mixer or shower diverter
- Overhead shower
- Shower arm
- Hand shower with hose and hook
- Bath spout (if you have a tub or use one to fill buckets)
- Flush plate (if the cistern is concealed)
- Waste coupling — the drain in the basin
- Bottle trap — the P-trap under it
Plus six accessories: towel rail, towel ring, robe hook, soap dish, tumbler holder, paper holder.
Items 11 and 12 are the ones missed. They are visible under a wall-hung basin, they must match the finish, and together they are ₹2,540–₹7,540 depending on finish.
The three sets, priced
Chrome, one bathroom, all genuine Jaquar:
The value column is Continental and Continental Prime with Allied valves; the mid column is Solo, Fusion, Lyric and Florentine Prime; the premium column is Queen's. In a coloured finish the premium column runs to ₹1,05,000–₹1,15,000.
The four things that move the number
1. Finish — the biggest lever. Chrome is the baseline. The same set costs roughly a third more in black and roughly double in gold. Decide the finish before you price anything.
2. Outlet count on the shower wall. A single wall mixer is ₹3,630. A 2-way diverter is around ₹6,700, a 3-way around ₹9,000–₹18,000. Count what the wall actually feeds — overhead, hand shower, spout — before you shop. Buying a 3-way for a two-outlet bathroom is the most common ₹4,000 mistake. Working in the diverter price guide.
3. Concealed vs exposed. Every concealed fitting is two purchases: a brass body in the wall plus the exposed parts kit on the tile. Budget ₹1,320–₹6,270 extra per concealed point. On a bathroom with a concealed diverter and a concealed basin mixer that is ₹5,000–₹10,000 that exposed installations do not pay. See the exposed parts kit guide.
4. Thermostatic or not. A thermostatic shower control is ₹6,644 complete against roughly ₹6,000 for a good non-thermostatic concealed mixer — close to free, and worth it if you have a geyser on a shared cold line. Details in the thermostatic mixer guide.
A 2 BHK, two bathrooms and a kitchen
The number most people actually want:
The second bathroom is specified down deliberately. That is the single most effective saving available and nobody has ever regretted it — see the Continental price list for why a value-range guest bathroom is not a compromise.

Where to spend and where not to
Spend on:
- The basin mixer. You touch it more than any other fitting in the flat.
- The shower diverter. It does the most mechanical work and it is behind the wall if it fails.
- Anything visible on a wall-hung basin — waste, trap, valves.
Do not spend on:
- Concealed valve bodies. Buried permanently. The body is an Allied code regardless of your series; buy the plain one the kit specifies.
- Valves under a closed vanity. ₹520 does what ₹4,710 does when nobody can see it.
- The guest bathroom's overhead shower. A ₹1,408 head in a bathroom used twice a month is not false economy.
- Tumbler holders. Everyone keeps brushes in a mug.
Two mistakes that cost real money
Buying in stages. Fittings bought over six months arrive from different production batches, and chrome from different batches does not always match under bathroom lighting. Buy the visible set for a room in one order.
Letting the plumber choose. Plumbers optimise for what is on their van and what installs fastest. That is a legitimate interest and it is not yours. Decide the fittings, then hand your plumber the list.
